I know firsthand how difficult it can be to find peace and fulfillment amidst the chaos, stress, and overwhelm of life. About Me

Consider me your wellness and lifestyle coach, confidant, and personal advocate. I’m here to help you live a more present and aligned life with less stress, anxiety, and hopelessness. I’ve been where you are, in the thick of it — as a mother, a cycle breaker, emotionally depressed working through deconstructing and reconstructing my faith, healing from childhood trauma and a disregulated nervous system all while juggling the demands of everyday life. I know the pain, frustration, and self-sabotage that can come with it all, which is why I created this sacred space, bringing together all my resources and experiences so you don’t have to go through it alone.

I’m not about fluffy self-help rituals that don’t produce real growth or sustainable change — I’m here to help you work through the nitty-gritty, everyday challenges with a practical and gracious mindset. Together, we can dig deep into your heart and passions, overcome harmful habits, and replace insecurity with courage so you can flourish and create a lived-in life.

Qualifications — 

BA in Behavioral Science (California Baptist University), Certification in Spiritual Formation (Talbot School of Theology), Certified Health Coach and Life Coach (Health Coach Institute). And a whole lot of personal experience with therapy, self-help books, workshops, and self-work on my own inner healing journey.

 

Family —

Originally from Southern California, I now live with my husband, son and daughter in Wilmington, North Carolina in a funky green fixer upper not too far from the beach.

 

Interests — 

Long days at the beach, reading a good book, learning (all kinds of things), enjoying the outdoors, entertaining, traveling, amusement parks, sustainable living, and cultivating a lived-in life with my family.

ACCOUNTABILITY

Two is better than one. We all need help and can’t make it through life alone. Having accountability keeps us moving and gets us to where we want to go faster. It doesn’t matter if you know all the things to do, have read all the books and signed up for all the online courses — without personal accountability, it’s easy to lose your momentum.

 

TAILORED

One size does not fit all. My program is uniquely tailored to you and your needs. Everyone is unique, and what works for one person doesn’t always work for the next. While we’ll go through a core curriculum, we’ll focus on the areas that affect you. No generic path here!

 

PRACTICAL

I’m all about being real, straightforward, and practical. The program has to fit with your life. No dreamy woo-woo ideal situations, but real solutions that work with your life, business, family, and health needs. I’ll give you practical, actionable, and doable steps to focus on each week.

 
 
 

SMALL STEPS

No overhauling, drastic, depriving strategies that leave you feeling burnt out and hopeless. It’s about starting small, taking things one step at a time and building momentum to get to lasting progress. As we accomplish one goal, it gives us the energy and motivation to move to the next.

 

HOLISTIC

Life doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Every aspect of our life is intertwined — be it health, relationships, finances, or work — and they all inevitably affect each other. I see everything as part of the whole and the goal is to bring balance and harmony overall.

 

DEEP

I like to start by wading in, then slowly taking a deep dive to find the root of the problem. Without addressing the deeper issues we’re just putting on bandaids, which don’t lead to lasting change. My goal is to deal with the deeper heart and soul issues that lead to lifelong transformation.

 
 
 

GRACIOUS

We all need honesty (which I’ll give you), but we also need grace — because life’s hard! It’s okay if everything doesn’t quite go as you plan — it’s an opportunity for learning and understanding. Being kind to each other and ourselves is a significant part of a holistic wellness journey.

 

SCRAPPY

Perfection is ideal, but sometimes you need quick and easy solutions for the here and now. We get scrappy and come up with creative options that work for your real life.
